Arranged Overdraft

You can apply for an overdraft limit of up to £500 in your first term at uni, and up to £2,000 after that. You must be 18+ and been living in the UK for at least 3 years.

An Arranged Overdraft is a short-term way to borrow and can be a really useful way to help you with uni life. An Arranged Overdraft means we’ve approved extra funds for you, which are available on your current account.

What are text alerts?

Text alerts are a really great way of keeping tabs on your money. You can get a text alert to let you know when your balance is about to go below a certain limit, or to let you know what your balance is at a specific time.  You can set them up when you fill in the online application form or in our Mobile Banking app.

How to submit your proof of student status online

The simplest way to prove your student status is to enter your UCAS Status Code into the application form. 

(This is a 16 digit code emailed to you by UCAS.  If you have misplaced this email please contact UCAS who will reissue within 24 hours.)
